STOCKTON - It only seemed like the USF men's basketball team was five men deep at every position on Saturday at Spanos Center.
The Dons defeated Pacific 81-60 thanks in large part to its bench. USF (15-8, 5-5 West Coast Conference) had three of its five reserves score in double figures, including Ronnie Boyce, who led all scorers with 24 points.
Pacific (8-15, 2-8 WCC) did not match that output as its three substitutes were outscored 56-11 by their counterparts. First-year Tigers' coach Damon Stoudamire said he does rely on fewer players to make things happen because he trusts them.
