SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Pacific women's track and field distance runners shined at the West Coast Invite, hosted by Santa Clara University.
Jasmine Gonzales, Emma Winkler, and Saira Purhar all set new career marks in the 3,000 meters. Gonzales finished fourth overall behind runners from Santa Clara and Saint Mary's with a time of 10:21.31, surpassing her previous best by .15. Winkler finished sixth and topped her previous career mark by over five seconds with a 10:33.07 mark. Purhar knocked over 10 seconds off of her best time last season, registering a finish of 10:43.
