STOCKTON, Calif. - For the second week in a row, Miguel Diaz has been named the West Coast Conference's Singles Player of the Week. Diaz went 1-1 in singles play this week and 1-1 in doubles as well. It's the third Player of the Week honor for the Tigers this season.
Diaz was undefeated at BYU, winning his doubles match with Ross Watson 6-4. He also won in singles 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, taking down BYU's top player and tying the overall match 3-3 before the Tigers eventually fell in a 22-point tiebreaker.
On the season, Diaz is 9-5 in singles player, winning eight of his last 11.
