STOCKTON, Calif. - Miguel Diaz has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season. Diaz posted wins in both of his matches over the weekend, including the match winner over Gonzaga on Saturday.
On Friday the Tigers faced #43 Portland where Diaz handed the #124 nationally ranked player, Mike Pervolarakis his second loss of the season and first loss in WCC play in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2. Diaz's win also snapped Pervolarakis' 11-match win streak and handed the Pilots' standout his first straight set loss of the year.
