STOCKTON — Molly Mordaunt Hummel has been pleased with what she has seen from the Delta College volleyball team during its practice sessions.
Today, the Mustangs finally will show what they have in live competition.
Delta begins the 2017 season today at home with a four-team get-together. Each school gets two matches, with the Mustangs playing Yuba at 3 p.m. and Solano at 5 p.m. In other action, Solano plays Cosumnes River at 3 p.m., and CRC meets Yuba at 5 p.m.
It’s an opportunity Mordaunt-Hummel has been waiting for most of the summer. She heads into the season with a balanced, talented squad which has six sophomore, six freshmen, and plenty of enthusiasm.
