Defense Leads Pacific Past Bethesda

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball team defeated Bethesda University, 84-49, in an exhibition contest Wednesday night at the Alex G. Spanos Center.

Fans were able to get their first look at the 2017-18 squad, which includes a number of newcomers that definitely did not disappoint.

The Tigers shot 42.3 percent from the field and made 21-of-29 from the free throw line. Returning forward Jack Williams played as expected, finishing as one Pacific's top players of the night. Newcomers Miles Reynolds, Jahlil Tripp, Lafayette Dorsey, and Roberto Gallinat were also stellar in their Pacific debut.
