Stockton, Calif. - Pacific Cross Country Head Coach Josh Jones has announced the signing of three student-athletes for the 2016 campaign. Joining Pacific in the fall will be Emma Winkler (Clarksburg, Calif.), Jasmine Gonzalez (Madera, Calif.) and Madison Cote (Minden, Nev.).
Winkler had an impressive senior campaign for the Saints, taking home the CVCL championship in the 5k on October 28th, finishing in 20:11, qualifying for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section finals, where she finished second in 21:09. In the CIF Division V State championships on November 28th, Winkler crossed in 49th place, capping an impressive season amongst the best distance runners in California.
