STOCKTON — Pacific baseball coach Ryan Garko smiled after a 17-2 loss to Fresno State on Tuesday but his frustration was clear.
He just doesn’t know what to make of a team that won nine of its first 10 games and has won just two of its last 10.
“We’re in a bad stretch right now,” he said. “It’s a been a couple weeks where we are not playing our kind of baseball.”
Pacific was coming off a three-game conference-opening sweep at Saint Mary’s. The Tigers head to Los Angeles this weekend for three games at Loyola Maymount.
