    STOCKTON — Much of this season, the Pacific men’s basketball team has been shorthanded.
    On Friday, the Tigers’ depth took another blow when head coach Ron Verlin and assistant coach Dwight Young were suspended indefinitely with pay pending a joint investigation with the NCAA over alleged academic misconduct. Just as the players have had to pick up the slack with three seniors held out of competition as a result of the probe, the coaching staff now must step up as a result of this latest shocking development.
