ST. HELENA, Calif. - In his first match of the year, Tadiwa Chinamo fell in a competitive match to Jaycer Lyeons, a USTA junior player out of Houston, Texas. Chinamo took the match to three sets before experiencing the loss.
In the first set, the Zimbabwe native fell behind 6-3 before grinding back in the second set, 6-1 to force the match to a third. In the final set, Chinamo lost momentum as Lyeons took the third set and the match.
"I am really happy with the match Tadiwa played today as this was our first official day of the season.
