For the second week in a row, Pacific men's tennis' top doubles team of juniors Akram El Sallaly and Tadiwa Chinamo have been named as the West Coast Conference's Doubles Team of the Week, this time for the achievements against San Francisco and Santa Clara.
Chinamo and El Sallaly posted a 2-0 record in doubles play this week. On Saturday against Santa Clara, the two defeated Bronco duo Andrew Gu and Robert Seby, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. On Sunday, they defeated USF's top duo of Oz Daniel and Paul Giraud, 6-4.
They're the first doubles team this season to earn the honor in back-to-back weeks and the first Tiger team since the WCC has begun doing weekly tennis awards.
