PHOENIX, Ariz. – Sophomore Casey Scott and the rest of the Pacific men's golf team recorded their best finish of the season after shooting par on day three of the GCU Tournament, hosted at the GCU Championship Course in Phoenix.
Scott had a career day, snagging his first collegiate victory with a six under-par 207. He came up big on the back nine on Saturday afternoon to hold off second place Felix Mory (208, -5) of Long Beach State.
"Casey played solid all weekend. Most impressive he made two clutch pars on the 16th and 17th holes to help secure the win today.
