STOCKTON – If anything is clear after this week about the Pacific women’s basketball team, its that the Tigers have some fight.
They outlasted Portland, and fell by just one point No. 16 Gonzaga last Saturday. And on Thursday they found themselves in another battle.
The Tigers tussled with BYU for 40 minutes and forced overtime. But the Cougars got the advantage in the extra period and defeated Pacific 76-66.
Brooklyn McDavid scored a team-high 19 points for Pacific. Valerie Higgins added a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
