Former Pacific men's golfer, Byron Meth, secured qualification for the Web.com Tour yesterday in the Final Stage of the Tour's qualifying tournament at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.
Meth, who played for the Tigers from 2011-15, finished tied for 22nd and was 20-strokes-under-par on the week to secure guaranteed qualification to eight Web.com Tour events on the 2019 calendar. His week was highlighted by a 64 in the second-round; he never posted a score higher than 69 for the week.
While at Pacific, Meth earned All-American honors as a senior in 2015; he was Pacific's seventh golfer to earn the title.
