Stockton, Calif. - For the second week in a row, the Pacific Tigers came away with weekly honors from the America East Conference, this time with Savannah Burns winning Player of the Week. Last week, Marguerite van Wyk won Rookie of the Week for her performances.
Burns scored nine points this week in just two games, scoring two goals in each and adding an assist against Vermont. The sophomore now has 14 points in her last three games, putting her just two points behind van Wyk for the team lead. She also leads the team in shots and in shots on goal this year with 22 and 11, respectively.
