Burns’ Four Goals Leads Pacific Past Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Pacific field hockey team finished the regular season on a high note as they dominated on Sunday afternoon by defeating the Colgate Raiders, 7-1. Savannah Burns netted four goals and registered an assist, while Kriekie van Wyk notched a hat trick and an assist. With Burns' nine points, she crossed the 100-career point mark making her the second highest point scorer in Pacific history with a total of 108 points. She also tied the program record for most goals scored in a single game, with four.

With the win, the Tigers finish the regular season 9-8 overall and 4-2 in America East Conference play, while the loss drops Colgate to 4-13 overall and 0-6 in the Patriot League.
