If ever a group of players needed a win just to feel good again, it was the Pacific men’s basketball team.
But Fresno State wasn’t in a charitable mood. The host Bulldogs (7-3) handled the short-handed Tigers 71-52 Saturday at Save Mart Center. Pacific’s worst loss this season was its fourth in a row.
The Tigers (1-7) will play Tuesday at Wisconsin-Green Bay before opening West Coast Conference action against Santa Clara on Dec. 21 at Spanos Center.
T.J. Wallace scored 13 points and Ilias Theodorou scored all 10 of his points in the first half to lead the Tigers.
