SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Tariq Branche has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced this morning.
Branche sparked the comeback victory over Santa Clara this past week, scoring in the 51st minute on a back heel shot after Pacific trailed 3-1 to the Broncos, and then tied the score at 3-3 in the 63rd for his second goal of the game. The Tigers went on to defeat the Broncos on the road 4-3 in overtime for Pacific's first West Coast Conference victory of the season while improving to 9-3 overall this season.
