LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Ray Bowles scored a career-high 26 points as the Pacific men's basketball team recorded its first-ever West Coast Conference tournament win,89-84, over Pepperdine Friday at Orleans Arena.
Anthony Townes finished with 19 points and eight rebounds, while Jack Williams added 14 points, T.J. Wallace 13, and Tonko Vuko 10 for five Tigers in double-figures. Williams added nine rebounds while Bowles handed out seven assists.
In a game that featured seven ties and 19 lead changes and was within five points for all but 52 seconds of game time, it was the extra pass that made the difference.
