STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific baseball team walked off with a 3-2 win over UC Davis Tuesday as Jimmy Boras delivered a game-winning hit down the left field line in the bottom of the ninth.
Each team scored two runs in the fifth inning, and the Tigers put two on in the bottom of the ninth with one out. Boras ripped a 1-2 pitch down the third-base line, into left field to bring home Preston Moebius with the winning run.
Boras finished 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI, while Matthew Tarantino went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
