SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A pair of goals off the foot of Tristan Blackmon helped the Pacific men's soccer team notch a 2-0 victory over host Sacramento State on Friday night. The Tigers move to 1-0 on the young 2017 season while the Hornets fall to 0-1. The win also gives the Tigers two-straight season opening victories.
Pacific got an early lead as Johnatan Rico-Contreres crossed the ball into the box which found Tristan Blackmon on the right side. The senior picked up where he left off last season as he one-touched the ball into the back of the net for the score in the fourth minute of play.
