Big Second Inning Dooms Tigers

STOCKTON, Calif. – In game two of the series, the Pacific Tigers fell 11-2 to the Penn State Nittany Lions, dropping their record to 4-5 on the season. Will Lydon once again went six innings but took the loss in the game. Penn State improves to 4-5 with the win.

"Anytime you lose a game it stings a little bit but it gives us an opportunity to learn and become better so we don't make those mistakes in conference play," said Assistant Coach Mike Reuvekamp. "We've had some defensive miscues this season that have put our pitchers in a tough spot where they have to make tough pitches that'll take something out of your arm.
