STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers used two big innings to get the victory Tuesday, scoring six in the second and six in the eighth to win 12-10 over San Jose State. Danny Mayer drove in four runs in the game while six Tigers enjoyed multi-hit days. Pacific moves to 9-10 on the season with the win.
The Tigers entered the eighth down four runs but promptly put eight consecutive batters on base, taking their first lead of the game. The scoring started with a pinch-hit RBI single from Jimmy Boras, who would score the tying run later that inning on a Matt Tarantino single to left.
