BERKELEY, Calif. – The Pacific women's beach volleyball team finished 1-1 with a 3-2 win over San Jose State and a 5-0 loss to No. 19 California Saturday at the Clark Kerr Sand Courts in Berkeley.
In the first match of the day, Pacific pairs Roni Long/Skylar Wine, Katrin Gotterba/Alex Holt and Ashlyn Fleming/Taylor Poncetta snaged victories to help the Tigers to their fifth win on the season. Roni Long/Skylar Wine (21-18, 21-11) and Katrin Gotterba/Alex Holt (22-20, 21-11) snagged sweeping victories, while Ashlyn Fleming/Taylor Poncetta took sets one (21-17) and three (15-9) to secure the team win.
