STOCKTON, Calif. – On a rainy Saturday, the Pacific beach volleyball team swept University of San Francisco to improve to 6-7 on the season.
San Francisco falls to 2-8. Overall, the Tigers have outscored the Dons 9-1.
With some pairing changes, Pacific's Roni Long/Kaitlyn Lines (21-16, 21-17), Emily Baptista/Hanne De Schrijver (21-10, 23-21), Ashlyn Fleming/Taylor Poncetta (21-16, 21-12) all snagged their victories in straight sets. The Tigers No. 1 pair Skylar Wine/Andie Shelton (10-21, 22-20, 15-7) and No. 3 pair Alex Holt/Katrin Gotterba (15-21, 21-17, 15-6) both earned come from behind wins after dropping the first set and winning the final two sets in their respective matches.
