STOCKTON, Calif. - Competing as individuals at the Visit Stockton Cactus Thaw, Pacific's own Austin Fox and Daniel Peña had impressive finishes with each in the top 15. Fox finished tied for second at the two-day, 36-hole tournament, the highest finish of any Tiger this year.
Fox, a freshman for the Tigers, shot a 72-65=137 for the tournament, finishing at -7 overall. His 65 today was seven under par by itself, the best round of the season for any Tiger. It was the fifth tournament of the year for Fox, whose previous best round had been a 73, good for +1.
