Greenwood, Ind. – Pacific senior outfielder Sara Anderson has been named to the 2016 All-Academic All-District Eight Division I Softball Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced on Friday morning. Anderson will now advance to the All-America ballot, which is voted on solely by Division I COSIDA members.
A constant force at the top of the order for the Tigers in her senior season, Anderson has started all 45 games at the leadoff position for Pacific in 2016. The Woodinville, Wash. product is hitting .348 with 48 hits in 138 at bats.
