A year after finishing his standout career in the Orange and Black, former Tiger standout Byron Meth has taken the next step in his professional career as the San Diego native earned his Mackenzie Tour card. Meth earned exemption into for the next four tour events after finishing tied for 10th at the Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada Q-School qualifying tournament in Santee, Calif. over the weekend. Meth shot a four-day total of +2, 290 to earn his exemption status.
The Mackenzie Tour, or PGA TOUR Canada, is a series of 12 events across Canada this summer, rewarding season-long performance by providing players with access to the Web.
