SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Freshman guard Ajare Sanni was named the West Coast Conference (WCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for December 31, 2018, it was announced by the conference office on Monday.
Sanni powered the Pacific men's basketball team to an 84-75 overtime victory against UC Irvine, which entered the weekend contest with an 11-3 record.
The Houston, Texas native shot 50 percent (8-16) from the field, including a 60 percent (3-5) effort from beyond the arc, and 80 percent (4-5) from the free throw line for a team-leading 23 points. His game totals inlcuded two steals, one assist, and one rebound.
