STOCKTON, Calif. - It's been a week of making history for the No. 8 Pacific women's water polo team as they get set to host Pomona-Pitzer in an NCAA Play-In Game on Saturday at a 11 a.m. at Chris Kjeldsen Pool.
The Tigers won the Golden Coast Conference championship for the first time, with a 11-7 win over No. 14 San Diego State on Sunday.
On Monday, the Tigers enjoyed their first NCAA Selection show, as they drew Pomona-Pitzer and will face the Sagehens Saturday for a spot in the final eight teams in Indianapolis.
On Wednesday, the new CWPA rankings were released with the Tigers moving up one spot to number 8, the highest the Tigers have been in program history.
