Stockton, Calif. - Sem Verbeek and Daniel Alameh posted wins on their Senior Day as the No. 70 Pacific men's tennis team swept No. 54 BYU, 4-0, Saturday at Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
Verbeek won his ninth-straight singles match and improved to 18-2 overall on the year. Alameh added his 11th singles win of the year,
Pacific took the doubles point as the No. 86 tandem of Verbeek & Jose Chamba downed Shane Monroe & Andrey Goryachkov, 6-2, at first doubles. At second doubles, 2. Alex Giannini & Alameh posed a 6-3 win over John Pearce & Jacob Sullivan, 6-3, to take the point.
