STOCKTON — Aquatic student-athletes at University of the Pacific soon will see upgrades to the Chris Kjledsen Pool, courtesy of a $500,000 donation from long-time local supporters, the Bank of Stockton and the Eberhardt family.
Pacific officials said in a news release that the donation will be used to purchase one of the largest collegiate aquatics video boards in the country. The gift comes following the launch of Leading with Purpose, a university-wide comprehensive campaign that began last October to raise $300 million by 2022.
“Few families have had more of an impact on this athletics program and our campus communities here at Pacific than the Eberhardt family and Bank of Stockton,” Director of Athletics Janet Lucas said in a statement.
