STOCKTON, Calif. - Devon Thumwood scored four times, while the defense recorded 17 steals as No. 5 Pacific doubled-up No. 9 Pepperdine, 12-6, Friday in a Golden Coast Conference men's water polo game.
Luke Pavillard added two goals to reach the 50-goal plateau this season in just 17 games, while Engin Ege Coalk scored twice to reach 49 on the year. Luis Araya, Andrea De Nardi, Ben Stevenson and Eli Lule each also scored with Araya racking up four assists in the game.
Thumwood chipped in two helpers to go with his four goals, and now has 31 goals and 53 points on the season.
