STOCKTON, Calif. - The No. 5 Pacific men's water polo team will host an NCAA Opening Round Game on November 25 at Chris Kjeldsen Pool as the NCAA announced the water polo championship field late Sunday.
The Tigers won the Golden Coast Conference championship with a 9-5 win over No. 7 UC Irvine on Sunday. Pacific earns the No. 5 seed in the NCAA bracket. Pacific will face the No. 8 seed, the SCIAC champion Pomona-Pitzer in the first round.
The winner of Pomona-Pizter and Pacific will face the four-seed, WWPA champion No. 8 UC Davis, on Nov.
