STOCKTON, Calif. - Behind lockdown defense, the No. 5 Pacific men's water polo team cruised to a victory over No. 6 UC Irvine, 11-5, Friday night at Chris Kjeldsen Pool.
The Tigers racked up 13 steals and held UC Irvine to .167 shooting on the night as freshman goalie John Hedges posted 14 saves with four steals. The
Engin Ege Colak scored four times to lead the offense, while Kale Ai and Luke Pavillard each scored twice. The Tigers also received goals from Andrea De Nardi, Andres Schmidt and Devon Thumwood.
