Stockton, Calif. - Pacific is set to host the inaugural Golden Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Championship, starting Friday at Chris Kjeldsen Pool. The six members of the GCC will crown a champion over the seven-game, three day tournament, culminating Sunday.
No. 5 Pacific enters the tournament at 18-6 after going 4-1 in the GCC this season. The Tigers earned the number two seed and will have a bye to the semifinals on Saturday. The Tigers will face the winner of six-seed San Jose State and three-seed Long Beach State at 6 p.m. Saturday, the second game of the day.
