STOCKTON, Calif. - The home opener for the No. 5 Pacific men's water polo team arrives Saturday, as the Tigers take on No. 4 Stanford at Chris Kjeldsen Pool at 7 p.m. Pacific has won six of the last eight meetings with the Cardinal.
The Tigers look to keep their successful run against Stanford going. Pacific is 6-2 in the last eight matchups dating back to 2013. The Tigers won both matchups with the Cardinal last season, the second in Palo Alto after a neutral-site win at the NorCal Tournament in Berkeley. Pacific downed Stanford 11-7 in 2015 in the last meeting in Kjeldsen Pool, while Stanford won both games in 2014.
