IRVINE, Calif. - Behind four goals each from Luke Pavillard and Kale Ai, the No. 5 Pacific men's water polo team advanced to the Golden Coast Conference championship game with a 12-9 win over No. 10 Pepperdine in the semifinals.
The top-seeded Tigers advance to face host No. 7 UC Irvine Sunday at 5:00 p.m. with a GCC title and NCAA automatic bid on the line. Goalie Alen Osmanovic made 10 saves while Luis Araya, Engin Ege Colak, Ben Stevenson and Devon Thumwood also scored for the Tigers.
