Providence, R.I. - The No. 4 Pacific men's water polo team romped to three wins at the Bruno Classic to open the 2016 campaign, outscoring opponents 47-11 in wins over No. 20 St. Francis Brooklyn (13-4), No. 16 Johns Hopkins (19-3) and No. 14 Harvard (15-4).
Ikko Saito totaled 10 goals, setting his career high twice with a hat trick in the opener and four against Johns Hopkins. Aleksandar Petrovic added six goals and four assists while Engin Ege Colak added five goals.
Kale Ai, Luis Araya and Luke Pavillard each scored four times, while Derek Clappis, Andrea De Nardi and Andres Schmidt totaled three each on the day.
