Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Coaches Poll - Sept. 12
STOCKTON, Calif. - With the updated rankings released on Tuesday, the Pacific field hockey team finds themselves sitting at a national ranking of #24 and 17th in the RPI.
Pacific started out the season at #25 but then dropped out of the rankings after losses to then #5 Syracuse and #20 Harvard. This past weekend, the Tigers were edged by #2 Connecticut but bounced back and rolled over UMass Lowell, 5-2 and Sacred Heart 4-0.
Savannah Burns and Kriekie van Wyk lead the team with five goals each, which include van Wyk's hat trick against UMass Lowell.
