IRVINE, Calif. - The No. 11 Pacific women's water polo team pulled away from No. 16 UC San Diego Saturday, for an 11-5 win at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.
Mariana Duarte, Karolina Hlavata, Rachel Krieger, Viktoria Tamas and Ellen Tiedemann each scored twice, while Aelish Guinn added a goal for Pacific.
Alexis Hollinrake recorded 11 saves in net for Pacific.
Hlavata scored off a steal for a 1-0 lead on the Tigers' second possession of the game. Lauren Boyer tied the game at 1-1 for the Tritons with a 6-on-5 goal with 3:54 to go in the first.
