SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The #10 Pacific women's water polo team was edged in overtime by #11 UC San Diego in the Tigers' finale at the UCSB Winter Invite Sunday, 15-12. Kyra Christmas and Ellen Tiedemann each posted hat tricks for Pacific.
Karolina Hlavata and Rachel Krieger each added two goals, while Truly Dorland and Aelish Guinn each also scored.
Pacific led 10-9 with a minute to go in regulation, but UCSD scored with 36 seconds left to force overtime, and outscored the Tigers 5-2 in the two, three-minute overtime periods.
