To become a prolific quarterback-receiver duo, more is required than just a strong arm on one end and Velcro-like hands on the other.
A connection -- in both the literal and figurative senses -- is needed. It doesn’t have to be a full-blown bromance, but it has to go beyond exchanging the basic pleasantries around the locker room and on the field.
Washington State quarterback Luke Falk and his favorite target, Gabe Marks, appear to have found that connection. The pair are coming off a season in which they hooked up for 14 touchdowns (Marks had 15 total last year after catching one from Peyton Bender).
