Quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. returned to the field for the Oregon Ducks in a 26-20 win over Washington. And for the first time this season many were able to see what kind of offensive weapons (outside of running back Royce Freeman) the Ducks have and how good this group could be, if only the right driver had the keys to the car.
Now, he does.
It'll take a lot for fans not to play the "what if" game with Adams return (What if he had played against Utah? What if he had played against Washington State?) but as of now, with him commanding this offense, the Ducks are in a position to play for a Pac-12 title.
