Utah junior receiver Kenric Young was cited over the weekend for misdemeanor assault after a fight broke out at a pool party at a North Salt Lake apartment complex, according to multiple reports.
Young, a junior from Gainesville, Florida, played in nine games and made three catches last year. He was listed as sophomore Tyrone Smith's backup at "Z" receiver on the post-spring depth chart.
Receiver depth is a big question for the Utes, who are replacing their top four pass-catchers from a year ago and quarterback Travis Wilson, a four-year starter.
