As expected, USC head coach Clay Helton has promoted wide receivers coach Tee Martin to offensive coordinator, filling the post Helton occupied before being promoted to interim head coach and eventually being elevated to head coach. Helton made the announcement Friday morning.
Martin, 37, is in his fourth season with USC. Since 2014, he had also served as pass-game coordinator.
“I am fortunate to have been around many good coaches throughout my career, but I have never been around a coach quite as complete as Tee Martin,” Helton said in a statement.
