The dynasty keeps on rolling for David Shaw and the Stanford Cardinal. They win their third Pac-12 title in four years and are headed to Pasadena to take on the Big Ten runners up, the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2016 Rose Bowl.
Stanford started their season with a tough loss against Northwestern, but then mowed down the rest of their competition mercilessly, beating UCF, Arizona, Oregon State, USC, UCLA, Washington, Colorado and surviving Washington State to move to 8-1 and on the verge of a playoff bid. Oregon then spoiled their national title dreams, but the Cardinal rallied for a Big Game victory over Cal and a dramatic win against Notre Dame.
