On Monday, ESPN's Sport Science group published a piece on former Oregon defensive end and reigning Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year DeForest Buckner.
As draft day looms, Buckner has been getting more and more ink. Sports Illustrated called him a "special, once-in-a-draft player." USA Today wrote that "Buckner's athleticism and motor should put him in position to be a top 10 pick." And San Diego Chargers cornerback Jason Verrett said that he wants the Chargers to use their No. 3 pick on Buckner.
So, what is it about Buckner that makes him such a special player?
