For all of the speed, tempo and fancy-pants offense that will be on display Saturday when Washington State travels to Colorado, it’s more than likely going to be what happens inside the 20s that impacts the outcome.
By this point in the season, we know that Washington State presents a robust offense that averages 44.3 points per game -- just half a point behind Washington for tops in the league. And the pass offense leads the conference. It just so happens that Colorado has the Pac-12’s top passing defense.
It’s a clear case of strength on strength.
