In May, Jennifer Cohen was named the AD at the University of Washington, becoming just the third female athletic director at a Power 5 school (Penn State’s Sandy Barbour and North Carolina State’s Debbie Yow are the other two). Before becoming athletic director, Cohen served as the interim athletic director for four months. Cohen has worked at the university for 18 years in several different roles and is a 1991 graduate of San Diego State University.
What’s your most vivid memory of growing up as a Washington football fan?
JC: I don’t have one game or one moment, I think that’s what’s really cool about sports.
